My recent stay at Hacienda Mexicana with my family was a pleasant surprise. Despite the remote location, the clear directions provided by the host made the journey manageable. Nestled in a nature reserve, the property offers a unique experience of living amidst lush greenery, complete with a private garden and pool.Our kids absolutely loved having their own villa with a swimming pool - a luxury we didn't expect at such an affordable price. Although Santiago, the host, was not very present during our stay, his responsiveness to our queries via text was commendable.The spacious property, surrounded by diverse wildlife, provided ample entertainment for the family. We particularly enjoyed spotting various bird species from our front porch and even caught a glimpse of some monkeys. The caretaker, Alex, though language barriers existed, was friendly and resourceful, ensuring our needs were met.For a peaceful escape from the typical resort experience in Cancun, Hacienda Mexicana offers a serene retreat with plenty of family-friendly amenities.
